Branding and New website for Inn-Love.ch

Sunday, March 27th, 2016

This project was an innovative one in nature. The client requested an online presence dedicated to Swiss users, enabling them to embark on the adventure of a lifetime by coming to Malta for a holiday like no other, while mingling and having fun with other individuals.

Being a brand new concept and project, we had to start from the very basics. The name Inn-Love was eventually selected by the client and logo design was next in line. Several logo options were drawn up, keeping in mind the nature of this enterprise as well as the target audience. These were presented to the client who, then, chose the one he believed best represented the image intended.

The next process was, indeed, the website design. ‘Visuals’ (a static representation/image of what the website will look like when launched) were made keeping in line with the elegant and sophisticated feel that the client was seeking. The client’s requests were carefully noted and the website was designed meticulously. Upon approval, the next phase was that of website development. This site included several aesthetically-pleasing features in order to keep in line with the luxurious identity of the venture it was portraying, such as a background video on its front page behind a call to action function whereby the users can register for this service.

The website was then optimised for mobile, smartphone and tablet responsiveness for an optimal and pleasurable user experience. A Content Management System (CMS) was also set up for the client to conveniently access the site and amend information as well as view any submissions by the users.

Facebook to reduce number of business posts on user timelines

3
Feb

Facebook have announced that they will be reducing the number of posts from Business pages from people’s news feeds. This will be done to increase the quantity of posts by friends while scrolling through the social medium. The reasoning behind this, according to Mark Zuckerberg, is that using social media to interact with people we care about can be beneficial, while “passively reading articles or watching videos… may not be as good.”
