Frendo Advisory – New Website

Saturday, January 16th, 2016

Frendo Advisory is a new multi-disciplinary advisory firm set up to provide professional advice in an array of fields, such as legal, consultancy and immigration. With widespread experience in areas not only limited to law, they offer tailor-made advice to each of their clients and go to great lengths to provide them with what they need and more.

The client required a highly aesthetically-pleasing website design, which was tailored made for his specific needs and showcasing the services offered by the firm. As a project, this was a very exciting one in that it was a collaboration in more ways than one. While we took care of web development, Matthew Demarco undertook the branding process whilst also guiding us through the website design. The illustrations utilised for the various services offered by Frendo Advisory were custom-made and drawn by the talented Nadine Noko.

As to web design, we sought to allow the illustrations tell their story by making use of full screen imagery, exposing the minimalistic yet elegant feel of the brand. It is worthy to note that the illustrations were drawn keeping the firm in mind, conveying the idea of what the firm, as a service-providing brand, is all about.

A Content Management System (CMS) was also set up in order to allow the site owner the freedom to amend information and add news items as they deem fit. Furthermore, the site was developed in a way to be optimised for search engines, thus making it easier for Google to rank it at a higher position. Lastly, the custom made website was made adaptive to allow an optimal user experience on any device the site is loaded on, be it a desktop, tablet or smartphone.

Facebook to reduce number of business posts on user timelines

3
Feb

Facebook have announced that they will be reducing the number of posts from Business pages from people’s news feeds. This will be done to increase the quantity of posts by friends while scrolling through the social medium. The reasoning behind this, according to Mark Zuckerberg, is that using social media to interact with people we care about can be beneficial, while “passively reading articles or watching videos… may not be as good.”
