Launched in the past few days, tried to capture the enthusiasm, passion and commitment that the client puts in her work. After some meetings, consultation and discussing particular requirements a website draft was designed. The client decided to modify aspects of the design to best suit her needs, due to the vast spectrum of services offered.

The website included several informative blogs, a course list, a detailed calendar of events, an advert management system, links and sharing on social media and a newsletter subscription form. Training sessions were also held to help the client make the most out of her website and engage her audience to trigger repeat visits.

The site itself has already reached over 650 unique users during the first two weeks of operation, and people visited over 6000 pages.

“I had a plan as to how I wanted my subjects to be conveyed to my clients in the easiest possible way. The website was to be an extension of the education and support which were already being offered by my school for parenting. But I had no idea how this could be done in a website.

I am totally satisfied with the way Fernand took time to listen and to put my ideas onto the screen. My awe was not only seeing the website taking shape, but also believing that I would be able to input posts, pictures, etc all by myself, independently of anyone. I must say that Fernand used his skills, a lot of patience and enough time so that today I can even boast of being able to do that too.”

Facebook to reduce number of business posts on user timelines

Facebook have announced that they will be reducing the number of posts from Business pages from people’s news feeds. This will be done to increase the quantity of posts by friends while scrolling through the social medium. The reasoning behind this, according to Mark Zuckerberg, is that using social media to interact with people we care about can be beneficial, while “passively reading articles or watching videos… may not be as good.”
