We held several meetings with the client with the aim to understand fully the operations of the company, their needs, their market and what they offer. The website was to provide users with a detailed, sophisticated and custom made search system, as well as a sub-section in the website dedicated to classic cars.
It was also agreed to maintain the existing branding colour scheme throughout the website, however opting for a different colour scheme on the Classic Car page in order to differentiate this section from the rest of the website.
The web design process commenced once we were confident in our understanding of the clients’ needs. A tailor-made design of the website was presented to the clients for their approval. This was followed by the web development process, whereby each and every section of the website was meticulously custom-coded. The fulcrum of this website is its sophisticated and intelligent database search system, through which users are able to search for cars, filtering their search as little or as much as they like. Furthermore, the website also boasts of custom made functions that recommends other cars to the user, based on the car they are currently viewing. A live chat system was also embedded into the website, allowing users to instantly communicate and request information in real time.
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) was implemented throughout the website in order to allow prominence and higher search engine rankings. The website was also developed to be mobile and tablet responsive, this having become an indispensable facet in websites.
A Content Management System (CMS) was also integrated in order for the clients to be able to take control of the website themselves – updating content, the car database and accessing all the data without the need for our involvement.
We wish Emotion Imports the best of luck, and trust that this website better represents their brand and ethos.
