A number of meetings were set up in order to determine the presence, look and feel that the clients wanted the website to reflect. The different sections that the website needed to include were also discussed in order for the web design to satisfy all the necessary criteria. A number of website design options were presented to the clients. Due to the fact that the clients had a very specific target in mind, much care was taken in order to make this step as effective as possible so as to ensure that the development stage would run as smoothly as possible.
Once the designs were approved and agreed upon by the clients, website development commenced. A lot of information and detail needed to go into the website, therefore each step was executed meticulously in order to ensure efficiency in the running of the website. This would also facilitate the website’s ranking on Google. A lot of attention was paid to the brand and its logo, since after all, the main purpose of this site was to showcase the brand, its value and what it stands for. A menu at the top of the page displays the different sections of the website allowing the user to navigate effortlessly around the various areas of the website.
Responsiveness on all devices was also catered for, and therefore the website can be enjoyed fully on mobile and tablet, and not only on a laptop or computer. Furthermore, as mentioned earlier, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) was integrated at development level, meaning that the website stands a far better chance to rank high on Google and other search engines.
The clients will also be able to update and edit their website through a Content Management System (CMS), therefore allowing them freedom, flexibility and independence in administrating their own website.
We wish the new team behind Immersion Watches immense success with their endeavours.
