The Skin Studio Laser Hair Removal Campaign

Wednesday, March 15th, 2017

The Skin Studio is a beauty clinic specialising in laser hair removal treatment. With summer approaching and the demand for this particular service on the rise, they deemed fit to launch an online campaign which would culminate with an open day promoting their services.

It was decided that two similar adverts would be prepared, targetting the female market and the male market separately. This was done in order to do away with the stigma that may surround beauty-related services, also because most beauty salons tend to target women solely. The adverts were created with the aim of being used preliminarily in a Facebook ad campaign. Further adverts were also prepared on Google Search Advertising in order to advertise the Skin Studio’s services when users looked up particular keywords.

To accompany the Google Adwords campaign, a one page web page was also designed in order to highlight the various services offered by The Skin Studio. The site visual was shown to the client, after which, web development ensued. A lot of attention was given to the development of SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) as the whole scope of this webpage was to be an integral part of this newly launched campaign. Furthermore, the site was made to be mobile-friendly and tablet-friendly so as to rank better on search engines and be more accessible to potential clients searching for the services offered by The Skin Studio.

We wish the team behind The Skin Studio the best of luck with their campaign!

Facebook to reduce number of business posts on user timelines

3
Feb

Facebook have announced that they will be reducing the number of posts from Business pages from people’s news feeds. This will be done to increase the quantity of posts by friends while scrolling through the social medium. The reasoning behind this, according to Mark Zuckerberg, is that using social media to interact with people we care about can be beneficial, while “passively reading articles or watching videos… may not be as good.”
